Senses Garden recreational therapy services
Senses Garden recreational therapy services to people with special needs and wheelchair track rehabilitation purposes
The aim of the project is to improve the health of elderly, people with special needs and disability, but the service is also suitable for children and caregivers and to support their ability to cope in everyday life by offering new therapeutic and rehabilitative services; and thereby reduce the costs for healthcare and social services. The new service will be provided in the senses garden in Estonia, which is divided into six thematic garden of which each one enriches and enhances different senses - seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting and combing; and in and around outdoor wheelchair path and in cosy classroom next to those objects.

Quiet whispers of the forest, down the stream where trees are tallest
softly spoken words of wind, forest laughter in the spring
birds are singing on the sea, quiet talk of stones and trees
what’s that roaring sound you hear, shadowing the nature here
Cling clang clong - is like a music wrong
listen to the nature’s song
people yelling loud and the scooter sounds
forest does not like these songs
Keep it quiet in the forest, hear the whispers of the smallest,
tiny ants will do their talk, don’t you scare them on their walk
Nature tells you thousand stories, if you listen you can hear it
how to save the forest strong, keep alive it’s ancient song.
